Sample delicious Lahore cuisine
Flying from Paris to Lahore creates opportunities to try sizzling South Asian food.
Parisian cuisine is very different to the delicacies you’ll taste in Pakistan’s second city, where sweetness is infused with spice and paired with deep-fried flatbreads rather than baguettes.
Try breakfast bites – such as traditional halwa poori, a combination of semolina pudding, nuts and soft fried sour dough – or chicken Lahori, the city’s quintessential dinner.
See Lahore’s Eiffel Tower Replica
The Eiffel Tower is iconic in Paris – and the city of Lahore has paid homage to this symbol of France by showcasing its own version.
Located in Bahria Town, less than 18 miles (30 kilometres) south of Lahore city centre, this realistic monument bears red lights in the evenings and occasionally hosts firework shows.
As with the original Parisian tower, you can even purchase tickets to ride a lift through the monument’s levels.
