While Bangkok is a huge city with a great deal to offer, there are plenty of options when it comes to transport, which makes getting around easy. The BTS Skytrain covers almost all of the central city, while the Bangkok MRT covers the northern section.

Taxis are readily available throughout Bangkok, as are Tuk Tuks (motorised rickshaws). Both are great options for short journeys and trips to major attractions.

Thanks to a tropical climate, Bangkok is warm and humid throughout the year. However, there is a ‘cool season’ that runs from November to February. During these months, the average temperature is still around 28⁰C though, and there tends to be little rainfall.

From March to June, temperatures rise to average highs of 34⁰C. Rain showers can be more frequent during these months too.
