How does it work?

Up to nine people can join a Family membership. Each person must have their own Etihad Guest account. Earn miles individually then combine them into one account. A nominated family head can redeem the miles for everyone, or you can spend them individually.

If you have a Family membership, there are still plenty of benefits for you as an individual too. Every time you fly, you’ll earn Tier Miles. And as you earn Tier Miles, you’ll unlock a new Tier Status, giving you access to even more rewards and benefits.

Frequently asked questions

If you’re the nominated family head, all you need to do is add the new member’s name, Etihad Guest number and their relationship to you to your family account.  

 

We’ll notify them of your invite to join your Family membership. A total of nine people can make up a Family membership.

 

If they’re not already an Etihad Guest member, they’ll need to join first as ach family member must have their own Etihad Guest account.

Sign up

When you sign up, you have to remain a member for one month. After that time, you’re free to leave whenever you like. If you’re the nominated family head, you will need to close the family account in order to leave.

The family balance will be reduced by the number of miles you’ve earned individually.
