Air Seychelles operated flights

Over the coming months, select Etihad Airways flights will be operated by Air Seychelles to help limit disruptions to our schedules. You’ll be able to see which flights are operated by Air Seychelles when you book, and you’ll also receive an email about what to expect before you travel.

What to expect on your Air Seychelles flight 

While the aircraft and onboard services may look different, you’ll still experience many of the features you know and love from Etihad Airways; like complimentary food and drink, inflight entertainment and the opportunity to earn Etihad Guest Miles.

Before you fly 

  • Use our state-of-the-art lounges if you’re eligible

Baggage

Seats

  • If you’ve picked a seat, we’ll automatically re-assign you a similar one 

  • Emergency exit seats and Bulkhead seats are available 

  • Extra legroom seats are not available  

  • Infant bassinets are available to request at etihad.com/manage (subject to availability)  

  • In Business, recline your seat to a fully-flat bed 

  • USB charging ports are available at your seat in Business only 

Food and drink 

  • Pick from a choice of complimentary food and drink in Economy 

  • In Business, choose from our extensive a la carte menu whenever you’re hungry 

Comfort and convenience

  • Air Seychelles crew will look after you on board

  • They’ll be assisted by one Etihad Airways cabin crew member 

  • Each aircraft has dedicated prayer areas 

  • Air Seychelles aircraft are equipped with accessible toilets 

Entertainment and connectivity

  • Watch films and TV with inflight entertainment provided by Air Seychelles

  • Wi-Fi is not available

Etihad Guest Miles
  • Earn and redeem Etihad Guest Miles as usual 

Ticket changes
  • Normal fare conditions apply 
Frequently asked questions

Whether you can change your flight or not, as well as the fees to do so, depends on the fare you’ve booked. Check our fare rules.   

If your flight is operated by Air Seychelles, pets are permitted to travel in Economy only. Pets must be placed under the seat in front of you – you cannot purchase an additional seat for your pet on an Air Seychelles flight.   

 

If you’re travelling with a trained service animal, falcons, cats or dogs, you must submit a booking form at least seven days in advance.
