Etihad Airways has cancelled its services to and from Beirut until and including 13 January, 2025 in response to the ongoing regional situation.
Flights affected are EY535 from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Beirut (BEY) and EY538 from Beirut to Abu Dhabi.
Customers transiting through Abu Dhabi with a final destination of Beirut will not be accepted for travel from their point of origin, unless they have made their own onward travel arrangements from Abu Dhabi.
Customers affected should contact their booking agents for alternative travel options or the Etihad Airways Contact Centre on +971 600 555 666 (UAE), by visiting etihad.com or the mobile app.
Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates.
Etihad is monitoring the situation across the region and continues to maintain close contact with authorities.

Etihad Airways flight EY843 from Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport (AUH) to Moscow, Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) on 25 November 2024 has been delayed due to a technical issue.
Subsequently, the return flight EY844 from Moscow, Sheremetyevo International Airport to Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport on 25 November 2024 will also be delayed.

If both of your flights are operated by Etihad, we’ll manage this for you, so there’s nothing you need to do. We’ll rebook your connecting flight and you’ll be able to view the amended details at etihad.com/manage.
If your connecting flight is operated by another airline, please contact them for assistance.
For all Etihad flights, please ensure your contact details are up to date at Manage your booking so that we can alert you of any changes to your trip.
You may be eligible for a refund, subject to certain conditions. If your flight has been delayed, we’ll email you with the options available to you, including whether you’re eligible for a refund.
It is rare that Etihad Airways flights are cancelled, and we apologise for the inconvenience.

If your flight is cancelled more than three days in advance, you’ll find alternative flight options at etihad.com/manage. For cancellations from two days before departure, our team will actively assist you in rebooking your flight.

If you’re flying in Business or First Class on an Etihad-operated flight from Abu Dhabi, you’re invited to use our airport lounge in Zayed International Airport for free. You may also be eligible to use the lounge for free depending on the benefits you select as part of your Etihad Guest Tier Status.
Alternatively, you can pay to use our lounges whilst you wait for your flight. Access is subject to availability on the day.
You may be eligible to a refund, subject to certain conditions. If your flight has been delayed, we’ll email you with the options available to you, including whether you’re eligible for a refund.
We will always try to accommodate you in a similar seat. If you’ve paid for a particular type of seat (for example, an Extra legroom seat), and we're unable to reserve a similar seat for you, you’re entitled to a refund.
In the event of flight disruptions or changes, please contact us to change your hotel reservation.
If your flight has been cancelled and you’ve paid for a stopover with Etihad Airways, you will be eligible for a refund.
Log in to Manage your booking or add your trip to the Etihad Airways app to view your full trip itinerary and the status of your flight. Ensure your contact details are up to date to receive real-time flight updates.
Head to one of our service desks at the airport to let us know your bags haven’t. We’ll give you a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), which you’ll need to track your bags, organise a delivery or make a claim in the future.

Zayed International Airport is located close to Khalifa City A, about 30 minutes from the city centre of Abu Dhabi. There are 1,500 long-term parking spaces and over 3,000 short-term parking spaces. And if you’re dropping someone off or picking them up, you can do so from directly outside the terminal building.
