Climb aboard a raft and take on the rapids in the company of an experienced instructor at Al Ain Adventure. There’s nothing quite like steering your way through the rushing waves with friends and family – the rafts fit up to five people. With three sets of rapids to choose from of varying difficulty, you can select your thrill level for an unforgettable adventure.
You’ll also find a range of aerial activities at Al Ain Adventure. If you’re feeling brave, take on the aerial adventure course, which features 18 obstacles and a 1,200-metre zipline, as well as a vertical climbing wall. You can also challenge yourself to try the 14-metre giant swing.
Whether you’re a seasoned surfer or have never set foot on a board, the state-of-the-art surfing pool and facilities at Al Ain Adventure provide the perfect surf spot in the Abu Dhabi sunshine. The more experienced can take on a challenge with three-metre-high A-boards, while smaller rolling waves help beginners to get some practice in a controlled environment. You can also choose to take it easy at Al Ain Adventure’s family pool and splash area, which is heated in winter and cooled in the summer so you can always take a dip.
You’ll find Al Ain Adventure around half an hour’s drive (20 miles) from the city of Al Ain, sitting at the foot of the majestic Jebel Hafeet mountain.
It takes around one hour and 45 minutes to travel the 106 miles from Abu Dhabi Corniche to Al Ain Adventure in Al Ain by car. On your journey, you’ll drive east of the city past the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Mangrove National Park.
To get from Abu Dhabi’s main leisure district, Yas Island, to Al Ain Adventure, it’s just over an hour and a half’s drive (102 miles). You’ll pass Abu Dhabi International Airport before taking Al Ain Road all the way out to the park.
It’ll take you approximately one hour and 50 minutes to drive the 113 miles from the idyllic Saadiyat Island to Al Ain Adventure. You’ll travel east of Abu Dhabi on the Al Ain Road to reach the park.
There are two restaurants to choose from at Al Ain Adventure. Mango Mango serves up fresh slushies and ice creams, while Surf Café offers healthy and satisfying meals.
You can rent lockers, towels and gloves for a small fee at Al Ain Adventure.
