Check-in times

The airport check-in desks open four hours ahead of your flight. If you’re in Economy, check-in closes 60 minutes before your flight, or 45 minutes before if you’re flying in Business or First.

Flights to the U.S.

Get to the airport four hours before your flight. Head to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Preclearance facility two hours before your flight, or 90 minutes before if you’re in Business, First or The Residence. 

Worldwide transfers
E-gates

When you get to the airport, register to use the e-border gates in Abu Dhabi to save time at immigration. This is subject to visa requirements.
