We’re proud to serve delicious, complimentary meals and snacks on every flight, inspired by the destinations we fly to. All dishes on board are prepared in accordance with Halal requirements.
If you have a medical condition or dietary requirement, you may request a special meal. Special meal options are limited on flights less than two hours and 50 minutes.
All of the food we serve on board is prepared in strict compliance with Halal regulations and is suitable for Muslims, so is there no need to request this in advance.
There will also be a vegetarian option on every flight over two hours and 50 minutes, though we recommend requesting this in advance at etihad.com/manage.
On flights less than two hours and 50 minutes, you can request a diabetic, gluten intolerant, or low-lactose meal only.
If you're flying in Business, you'll have a choice of meals, including a vegetarian option. In Economy, you’ll be served a light meal or snack, with a vegetarian option available on most routes.
Children’s meals will not be available, and vegetarian options may be limited, so you may wish to bring your own food or snacks on board.
On flights over two hours and 50 minutes, you can request a special meal for a dietary requirement, as well as meals for children and babies. A vegetarian option will be available, though we recommend selecting this in advance at etihad.com/manage. All meals will be Halal, so there’s no need to request this.
If you have any concerns about flying with a medical condition or an allergy, please get in touch with your doctor before travelling with us. We do not accept responsibility for any allergic reaction on board our flights.
If you have a severe allergy or have any other specific dietary requirements, we recommend that you bring your own food on board with you, keeping in mind the current liquid restrictions.
Flying with a peanut allergy?
We do not guarantee a peanut-free environment on board. Nuts may be served on all of our aircraft or used as an ingredient in any of our menus. Other passengers may also bring items on board that contain nuts.
It is possible that traces of peanuts or their derivatives could be in the cabin environment or the aircraft air conditioning. An allergic reaction to peanuts or any derivative can be serious.
To make sure it is available on board, please request your special meal at least 24 hours before your flight.
