Airport transfers
New Islamabad International Airport (ISB) is relatively close to the city centre. You can pre-book your airport transfer with Etihad when you fly to Islamabad so that your driver is waiting for you on your arrival. Coaches, buses and taxis also leave regularly from the airport for the heart of the city, which is around a 35-minute drive away.
Cultural considerations
When entering religious buildings such as mosques, guests should be silent and remove shoes at the entrance. Both men and women should dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees.
