Head to Jahangir’s Tomb

The extraordinary Tomb of Jahangir is where the legendary emperor of the same name was laid to rest, the man who ruled the Mughal dynasty for more than 20 years. It was erected in the first half of the 17^th century by Jahangir’s son, Shah Jahan, who also constructed the Taj Mahal in India. Jahangir’s beloved wife, Nur Jahan, is said to have had a vital hand in designing this magnificent tribute to her late husband.

Exquisite marble detailing can be found inside, while a tranquil and majestic garden complex also includes the tomb of Asif Khan, Nur Jahan’s brother.
