With our tier programme, your loyalty is rewarded with benefits that really matter to you. As you earn Tier Miles, you’ll unlock a new Tier Status for 12 months and even more benefits. And to help you personalise those perks, your benefits are split into three categories: Core, Custom, and Beyond Benefits.

How do Tiers work?

Bronze Tier

The entry level tier for all new Etihad Guest members. As a Bronze member, you’ll receive free Wi-Fi to use messaging apps on board, as well as access to GuestSeats which offer reduced fares exclusively for members.

Silver Tier

As a Silver Tier member, unlock more Core Benefits and choose two Custom Benefits, like lounge access in Abu Dhabi. You’ll also get dedicated check-in in Abu Dhabi and free Wi-Fi on board, as well as 25% bonus miles.  

Criteria

  • To reach tier: 25,000 Tier Miles (min. 10,000  from flying) 

  • To maintain tier: 20,000 Tier Miles (min. 10,000 from flying) 

Gold Tier

Get even more Core Benefits and choose four Custom Benefits as a Gold Tier member, like 15kg extra baggage allowance. And when you reach 75,000 Tier Miles, you'll unlock two Beyond Benefits to enjoy with family and friends.

Criteria

  • To reach tier: 50,000 Tier Miles (min. 20,000 from flying)

  • To maintain tier: 40,000 Tier Miles (min. 20,000 from flying)

Platinum Tier

One of our most exclusive tiers, Platinum Tier is packed with incredible Core Benefits, five Custom Benefits and two Beyond Benefits when you reach 175,000 Tier Miles. Look forward to priority check-in, fast-track boarding and private chauffeur in the UAE.

  • To reach tier: 125,000 Tier Miles (min. 40,000 from flying)

  • To maintain tier: 100,000 Tier Miles (min. 40,000 from flying)

Emerald Tier

Our most elite tier, as an Emerald member, you’ll unlock a suite of exclusive benefits tailored just for you.

Criteria

  • To reach and maintain tier: Spend USD 150,000 (excl. taxes) on Etihad flights.

Frequently asked questions

You can earn Tier Miles to help you reach your next tier by flying with us or any of our partner airlines. When you fly, you’ll earn Tier Miles based on the distance you fly and the fare you book. If you’re based in the UAE, you can also earn Tier Miles by using an eligible Etihad Guest Payment Card or by shopping and spending with our Miles on the Go partners.

You can enjoy your Custom Benefits as many times as you like, unless the benefit comes with a set number of vouchers.

  1. Once you receive an email from Etihad Guest confirming your new tier, your Core Benefits will begin immediately. You’ll also get an email inviting you to choose your Custom Benefits. Be sure to make your selection within 30 days; otherwise, your Custom Benefits will be automatically assigned. It’s important to choose your Custom Benefits before you travel, as they may not be available if left unselected.
