How to apply

Am I eligible?

You must meet the following requirements to apply for an international student discount:

You must be an international student aged 18 – 32

You must not be a citizen or permanent resident in the country you’re studying in.

Have a valid student ID or acceptance letter

Be an Etihad Guest member

Qualifying countries

You must study abroad in one of the countries below to be eligible for our student offer. Canada and the U.S. are not included in this offer.

How to apply for a student discount

Follow these steps to apply, then return to this page to book your flight.

Step 1 Join Etihad Guest

Remember to enter your correct home address – this should be different to the country you’re studying in.

Log in or sign up

Step 2 Verify Student ID

Verify your student ID. Your documents must be submitted in English or with an official English translation.

We’ll email you when your ID has been verified. Then, return to this page and log in below to book your flights.

Frequently asked questions

If you’re an Etihad Guest member, log out of your Etihad Guest account and try again. If you’re still not able to upload your documents, please email eservices@etihad.ae.

It's possible that your verification was unsuccessful because the documents you submitted didn't meet our requirements.

Make sure your documents were issued within the last three months and clearly show your first and last name, the name of your university and match the information you provided in the student verification form.

Documents must be submitted in English, or be accompanied by an official English translation.

If you’re eligible for our student offer, you can book and fly with us as many times as you like until 30 June 2025.
