Vienna International Airport (VIE) is situated 14 miles (23 kilometres) southeast of the city centre. To get to central Vienna, you can either catch a train, a bus or hail a taxi. It’s also possible to book a private airport transfer directly to your chosen hotel in advance through Etihad.

Vienna has a very efficient public transport system that stretches throughout the city. Regular bus, tram and metro (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) services run throughout the day, making it easy to see many of Vienna’s most popular sights.
