Located in the heart of Old Cairo, the lanes of this glittering bazaar have been filled with locals and visitors alike for hundreds of years.

Khan Al-Khalili market is bursting with stalls selling everything from spices and semi-precious stones to silverware and antiques. Meanwhile, cafes serve up traditional Egyptian street food.

Vendors are located in the small courtyards of the souk which shine in a kaleidoscope of colours. Merchants are welcoming and helpful – if you can’t find what you’re looking for, they’ll point you in the right direction.
