How to book

  • Seven days before your flight: Submit a booking form  
  • 72 hours before your flight: Email all required documents  
  • If you’re flying to Abu Dhabi, apply for a release permit for your pet and complete a UAE Health Certificate 
  • If you’re flying in Business, call us before you book to check if any pet-friendly seats are available 
How to book

Eligibility

  • Pets must be at least 16 weeks old and weigh up to 8kg, including their carrier 
  • Pets are permitted in their carrier in Economy and Business  
  • You must be at least 18 years old to travel with a pet 
  • You must not sit in an exit row or bulkhead seat

  • Maximum size: 40 x 40 x 22cm (L x W x H) to fit under your seat/ 50 x 43 x 50cm if you’ve purchased an extra seat 
  • Must be ventilated on at least three side and be big enough for your pet to move around and lie down 
  • Must be escape and leak-proof and lined with absorbent material

UAE Health Certificates

If you’re flying to Abu Dhabi, you must present a UAE Health Certificate at the airport. Or, if you’re travelling from any of the following countries, you can provide a local government health certificate instead. Health certificates must be signed and stamped by a government-accredited health official in your country of departure within five days before your flight.

Check in at the airport three hours before your flight. Cats and dogs (excluding trained service dogs) must be in a suitable carrier.  

You must present all required documents at check-in. Your pet will not be permitted to fly otherwise.

Guests with allergies and other animals on board

If someone is allergic to animals and a guest with a trained service dog requests to travel on the same flight, the trained service dog will take priority, regardless of the time of reservation. Allergies must be proved by a medical report submitted before the flight.

If a guest with a trained service dog and a guest with a pet request to travel in the same cabin on the same flight, the trained service dog will take priority, regardless of the time of reservation!
