1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the competition shall be deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.
2. Entry is open to 18 years of age or over (“Entrants”). The promoters are Etihad Airways PJSC, Khalifa City A, P.O. Box: 35566, Abu Dhabi, UAE (“Promoters”).
3. If the Entrant does not enrol into the Etihad Guest programme at the beginning of the activation and does not share their Etihad Guest Membership number, the Entrant would be ineligible to win any prizes. The competition is only for new Etihad Guest Members, members who joined the programme before the competition period will be ineligible.
4. The competition runs from 14:00 GMT+5:30 on 22 March 2024 to 14:00 GMT+5:30 on 01 June 2023 (“Competition Period”). Winners will stand a chance to win 30,000 Etihad Guest Miles for every six runs hit by a Chennai Super Kings player during any of the games at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, commonly known as the Chepauk Stadium during the TATA IPL 2024 tournament.
5. To enter the competition, Entrants must:
(a) Visit the activation landing page, register to the Etihad Guest Programme.
(b) Activate their newly registered account via email.
(c) Answer the question below to stand a chance to win 30,000 Etihad Guest Miles .

6. There is a limit of one entry per person for the duration of the Competition Period. Duplication or multiple creation of accounts by one person will be considered fraudulent activity and will become ineligible.
7. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoters and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoters accept no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoters.
8. Costs associated with accessing the competition website remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used.
9. The winner will be contacted via their registered mobile number or email address before or after 10 June 2024. That is the only way promoter will notify the winner and its an Entrants responsibility to ensure all contact details are active and contactable. In the event, the chosen winner is not contactable via mobile number or email address, another winner will be chosen and awarded to prize.
10. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoters discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions of Entry, the entry will be discarded and the relevant prize will be re-awarded in accordance with these Conditions of Entry as if the discarded entry had not been received.
11. During the Competition Period, Promoter may select multiple winning entries based on the number of 6 runs (boundary) hit by a Chennai Super Kings player in any of the TATA IPL 2024 tournament games played at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, commonly known as the Chepauk Stadium. For illustration purpose: if the CSK team achieves four x 6 runs in the entire tournament, then the first four Entrants answering the competition question correctly will be selected as winners.
12. The winner will be rewarded with a maximum of 30,000 Etihad Guest Miles which will be deposited into the winner’s Etihad Guest account. The use of Etihad Guest Miles in account is up to the desecration of the winner. The prize is for the personal use of the winner and is not exchangeable, transferable, and cannot be redeemed as cash.
13. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the stadium or during the tournament or as part of the prize. Prizes will be awarded to the winning Entrant named in the entry.
14. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoters. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoters by calling 1800 1233901.
15. By accepting the prize, the winners agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed. The winners will not be entitled to any fee or other reward for participating in these activities.
16. As a condition of entering this competition, the Entrant warrants to the Promoters that:
(a) The Entrant has obtained permission from any third party appearing or particpating in the entry.
17. As a condition of entering this competition, Entrants hereby assign to the Promoters, all right, title and interest in and to all copyright or any other intellectual property rights in any material created pursuant to the Entrant’s participation in any aspect of the competition (“Works”). Entrants acknowledge that the Promoters are free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation thereto and the Entrant will not be entitled to any fee or other reward for such use.
18. In consideration for the Promoters awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in any media whatsoever throughout the world for an unlimited period and the winner will not be entitled to any fee or other reward for such use.
19. The Promoters reserve the right to request Winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity (including but not limited to originality of image) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoters. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
20. Promoter reserves the right to change these Conditions of Entry at any time without notice at its complete and sole discretion.
21. The Promoters’ employees and their family members are not eligible to participate.
22. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which in the opinion of the Promoters, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of the Promoters, engaged in conduct in entering the competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the competition and/or the Promoters. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify a Winner if the Promoters become aware that the Winner and/or the Winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. Any entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in this competition.
23. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoters ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given by the relevant authorities in the UAE .
24. The Promoters, its associated agencies and companies (and their respective officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability (including negligence) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss and/or damage arising in any way in connection with this competition or any prize/s. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical malfunctions, delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this promotion and any incorrect or inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this competition as a result of any technical malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) lost or damaged entries, prize claims or prizes; (iv) acceptance and/or use of any prize (including but not limited to any component of a Winner’s trip).
25. The Promoters reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoters have reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this promotion. Any entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in this competition. The Promoters legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
26. The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, internet failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
27. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any causes beyond the control of the Promoters, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoters reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to any written direction given by the relevant authorities in the UAE.
28. The Promoters are not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
29. All entries will be the property of the Promoters. The information Entrants provide will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at http://www.etihad.com/en-ae/legal/privacy-policy/. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoters may disclose Entrants’ personal information to any affiliated company, their contractors, partners and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with Entrants. The Promoters may also disclose Entrants’ personal information to its related companies and third parties who provide products and services, its partners, some of whom may be located overseas. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to persons or organisations located in the United Arab Emirates, Germany, India, Ireland, Canada, France, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States of America and other jurisdictions. Entrants consent to the Promoters using their personal information for future promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products and services, including contacting the entrant via SMS and email messages (and entrants consent to receiving such messages from the Promoter). Information on how to opt-out from these messages is set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy also explains how an entrant can seek to access or correct any personal information the Promoter holds about the entrant, how to complain about a privacy breach by the Promoter and how the Promoter will deal with a privacy complaint. 30. By entering the competition, each Entrant also agrees that the Promoters may use their personal information, for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the Entrant commercial electronic messages. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Promoters do not need to include an unsubscribe facility in any commercial electronic messages it sends.
31. If in any jurisdiction, this prize draw is unlawful, then to the extent that the laws of that jurisdiction are applicable, this prize draw is void in that jurisdiction.
32. These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between the entrant and promoter are governed by UAE laws as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and laws of Abu Dhabi. By completing and submitting an entry, entrant is agreeing to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi courts.
